Valencia CF Women’s first team and Academy enjoy a family celebration of the 4 promotions

Valencia CF Femenino and Sofía Álvarez have reached an agreement that will see the defender in a VCF Femenino shirt until the 30th of June 2022, with an option to extend the deal for a further season.
The 21-year-old defender was born in Querétaro (Mexico) on the 5th of June 2000, the player arrives from Querétaro FC Femenil.
She has spent her professional playing career in the Querétaro FC Femenil ranks and she boasts plenty of experience with eight Liga MX Femenil tournaments and 105 appearances to her tally.

The Mexican right full-back describes herself as a versatile player with license to go forward and the ability to travel the full length of the pitch down the right channel.
VCFF’s number 12 can also play as a right wing forward. She has pace, strength and efficiency in her decision-making which sees her as a great reinforcement for VCF Femenino in this winter transfer window.
